FAQ - Camping Verdon Var

1 - What time can I arrive?

On the campsite, subject to availability, from 3.00 pm.
July-August: You can arrive from 4pm on Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday,
Outside July and August, subject to availability. Please enquire when booking.

2 - What time do I have to leave the premises?

On campsites, departure by 10.00 am at the latest.
In high season, departures are on Saturday or Sunday before 10.00 am at the latest.
For some rental properties, arrivals are from Wednesday to Wednesday during the season.
In low season, subject to availability.

3 - Is it possible to arrive on the day of your choice?

In high season, bookings are mainly made on a weekly basis, from Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday, or from Wednesday to Saturday for some accommodation.
In low season, depending on the number of bookings, you can choose your day of arrival and departure. This will be agreed in advance with the campsite managers.

4 - Is end-of-stay cleaning included in my booking?

In both high and low season, holidaymakers are provided with a cleaning kit (broom, mop, bucket, sponge, washing-up liquid, multi-purpose cleaner) to leave the property as they found it. Guests are responsible for taking out the rubbish (a rubbish bin is available) and washing, drying and tidying the dishes.
Holidaymakers may be asked to pay a cleaning fee.

5 - Should I bring my own sheets?

Our accommodation is all equipped with pillows and duvets. If you are unable to bring your own linen (sheets, pillowcases and towels), we can arrange for you to hire them on site.

6 - Can I arrive after reception has closed?

Opening and closing times for reception are 9.30am to 12.00pm and 3.00pm to 7.00pm. If you need to arrive outside these times, please contact us so that we can organise your arrival.

7 - Are swimming shorts allowed in our pools?

Swimming costumes are compulsory; boxer shorts or swimming trunks are compulsory; swimming shorts are not permitted. Waterproof nappies are compulsory for babies. Children are the responsibility of their parents and must be accompanied by an adult.

8 - What is the maximum capacity of my accommodation?

It all depends on the accommodation you choose. The maximum capacity of some of our chalets is 5 beds.

9 - How does entry/exit work in a car?

Free entry/exit to the domain However, for the peace and quiet of our holidaymakers, no traffic is allowed between 11pm and 8am.. The access road is a one-way loop. For everyone's safety, we ask you to respect the traffic timetable and the speed limit posted on the site.

10 - Are pets allowed?

We accept pets (except in July and August) for a daily fee payable at the time of booking on all pitches and in some accommodation. However, your pets must be kept on a lead. We would like to remind you that it is forbidden to leave your pet alone in the accommodation or on your pitch. Category 1 and 2 dogs are not permitted.

11 - Is there insurance in case I have to cancel my holiday?

You can take out holiday cancellation insurance with GRITCHEN, the cost of which is pro rata to your stay (4 %).

12 - Do I have to pay a deposit?

You will be asked to pay a deposit on arrival. This must be paid by cheque or credit card and will cover loss, breakage and damage to equipment to the value of €200. You will also be asked to pay a €150 cleaning deposit, which will be returned to you within 72 hours of your departure after our cleaning team has checked your property.

13 - When do I pay my deposit and balance?

To validate your booking, we ask you for a deposit of 30 % of the stay.
For rental properties: 30 days before your arrival, including tourist tax (subject to change by the CCLGV).
A deposit of €350 by cheque or credit card will be required on arrival (€200.00 for rental and €150.00 for cleaning).
For pitches: 7 days before your arrival including tourist tax (subject to change by the CCLGV)
If you are hiring a fridge: A deposit of €150.00 by cheque or credit card will be required on arrival.

14 - How can I pay for my stay and at the bar/restaurant?

Bank cheques, cash, holiday vouchers, secure online payment. (We do not accept payment by cheque on site except for deposits, and less than 30 days before your arrival). At the bar and restaurant, payment by credit card is accepted as well as cash.

15 - Is there shopping nearby?

Bread and pastries can be ordered from the campsite.

16 - Can we receive visitors at the campsite?

For the peace and quiet of our holidaymakers and for safety reasons (evacuation of the campsite, etc.), no visitors are allowed, unless the person is registered in the contract.

17 - What activities are there on the estate? And nearby?

Restaurant-Snack open from April to September

- Bread and pastries available from April to September
- Activities and leisure: Petanque pitch, table tennis, children's play area, table football, board games.
- 1 or 2 evening events per week in July and August (including a themed meal).

18 - Is there air conditioning in the chalets?

We offer chalets with air conditioning here.

19 - Can I use a barbecue on my pitch?

Wood and charcoal barbecues are banned by prefectoral decree.
